[MangaloreanCatholics] 40 Konkani Prayers will be
released on 23rd October, 2004.
Dear Members,
I will be releasing the book "40 Konknni Magnni" (40
Konkani Prayers in Roman script) at Konkan Daiz Yatra
to be held on 23rd of October in Mumbai.
I have offered this book to all the members of
Mangalorean Catholics since it is a first fruit of
this group.
I have taken IMPRIMATUR for this book from Most Rev Dr
Aloysius Paul D'Souza Bishop of Mangalore. It was the
first request from our group members for Konkani
Prayers when I started the group on 2nd of June 2004.
I have used very expensive art papers for this pocket
size laminated book so that the book will last longer
and it will not get spoiled even if it is used
extensively, regularly and even if it is dropped in
the waters.
But I have price it at Rs. 5/- only which is much less
than the cost price of the book. My prior intention is
to popularise Konkani prayers in every houses. I will
get satisfaction to my efforts if Konkani prayers are
said in most of our Konkani families.
As the book is priced very low our international
members who are very active in church activities can
place bulk orders for copies ins hundreds and they may
donate them to their respective churches.
