Kohima, February 12 (NNN): The Nagaland Peoples Front (NPF) has termed Goa Governor, SC Jamir�s dismissal of the Manohar Parrikar Government as "a usual political design and style of functioning of SC Jamir" saying such action was anticipated from him from the day he took over as Governor of Goa.
At its central party office bearers� meeting held here yesterday, the party members deliberated on the developments in Goa following the dismissal of the Parrikar Govt and viewed the dismissal as another Jamir stunt.
It has not "evoked any shock or surprise" as such action was anticipated of Jamir, the party, through a communiqu� issued by its press secretary, R Paphino, said.
"The high-handedness of SC Jamir in the far-off state of Goa should remind all that Nagas had suffered extensively under his long partisan rule in Nagaland", the communiqu� said adding, "The arbitrary action in Goa is just sheer repetition of political
history that he always craved for".
Also, terming Jamir�s action as "nothing but naked exposition of true colour of inherent biasness of Jamir", the NPF said though his action was "unconstitutional and devoid of democratic norms", the "contemptuous behaviour of Jamir, holding such a dignified and sanctified post should aptly be set as an eye-opener for people all over India to be watchful for all times to come".
