Senior tiatrist of the konkani stage 74 year old Rom Tony (Antonio Romauldo Rebello) passed away today evening at 5 PM at the GMC hospital Bambolim. His funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10.00 a.m. at the St. Andrew's Church Vasco da Gama. Rom Tony was ailing for the last few years and was not seen on the stage. He was admitted to the Port hospital a few days ago and later shifted to GMC on 3rd April where he breathed his last. He is survived by his four daughters Felcy & Aplonia (both stage artist), Julie, Gloria and son Cruz. A good composer and singer he was part of the famed trio Rom-Rem-Rod.
