The LP18 Grav Plow is actually a contragrav rotary tiller, but on most
worlds in known space nobody makes such technical distinctions. The LP18
consists of an open seat mounted on top of the narrow engine pack and an
18' axle with rotating tines. By flying, the agricultural machine avoids
soil compaction and simplifies maneuvering at the edge of the fields. A
simple avionics package helps the operator to keep a tight pattern.

At TL10 should there be an operator at all? It seems to me more likely that the operator sits at home observing a StarCraft style command screen with various sensors, plows, planters and harvesters represented by icons.

He or she would only need to leave the house when a unit failed for some reason. Possibly not even then if there is a remote towing unit available which could go out and bring it back for maintenance.
