Yes, I would also appreciate some discussion/feedback on whether
people on this list agree with my release targets.

Yes, that's why each bug has a "Severity" field where its
importance can be set. We need to focus on the ones
with highest importance for the 1.0 release ("major", "crash"
and "block").

As I said above, the bugs are already marked accordingly.
Let's not introduce another rating on the Wiki. Everyone
who is not content with a bug's severity can change it on
the bug tracker page. However, please be very cautious
with this. If every bug ends up being rated "block",
then we will not be able to set priorities for the release!

The bug tracker also has the ability to automatically
create a release plan for gvSIG CE 1.0:

http://gvsigce.sourceforge.net/mantis/roadmap_page.php

Every bug which is marked with "gvSIG CE 1.0" as "Target version"
will automatically be listed there. I suggest linking to
that page from the wiki directly, instead of creating another
resource that needs to be kept up-to-date.

I have added a new release target called "unspecified".

Everyone wishing to sort out the release of gvSIG CE 1.0
can help in one of these ways, using the bug tracker:

1. Move tickets that are not of critical importance for
the 1.0 release to the "unspecified" target. We will
park them there until 1.1 or 1.2 starts shaping up.

2. Review the "Severity" status of all tickets.

To edit a ticket, log into into the bug tracker, click
"View Issues", set the "Project:" filter to "gvSIG
Community Edition", then click on the little pen icon
next to the ticket of interest.
