Thanks for the details and we will investigate this further. Also,
simply opening a folder in Windows doesn't prove that it's empty because
you might have hidden and system files now showing which is the default
behavior.

folder in question and sure enough it was empty. Another time when a
folder remained on the flashdisk after deletion I took out the battery
then reinserted it after 30 seconds. After that the folder deleted but
eventually this happened again. On the old unit that I sent back this
problem occured as welll. I think that I'm not the only one with this
