Curtis,

I've also experienced all of these issues with commercial mp3 audio books,
as well as often losing my place, not being able to set a bookmark, and it
frequently playing the tracks out of order.

it locks up so often I keep a toothpick in the zippered pocket of the
executive products case, the only use I've found for that pocket so far,
since it's really small, and I just don't need to carry an extra SD card.

Subject: Re: [GW-Booksense] lockup

While reading an NLS book, I've had lockups, where reset was also necessary.
Also, while reading, and I wish to stop, holding down the power button,
(play, pause), and the unit turns off while reading, it continues. I know it
is still reading because when I press the time and date button I hear it
reading while it is announcing the time and date. That, wastes battery? :)
Not all the time, but sometimes. when I press that play / pause key and
holding it down, the power off signal while still reading occurs. I know,
"don't hold down the power button while reading," but it shouldn't do that.
:) Another "bug" is the unit still, not often but more than it should,
begins to say such things as "end of side one," (and others), and then skips
over syllables of the next word, garbling it. When I press "pause," of
course it screams about 4 times louder than it should, "pause." Volume
jockey I must play to keep my hearing intact. :) There are occasions when,
certain NLS materials will not go beyond areas in the book which the Book
Sense says exist. Check out, please, DB-Douglas, Carole Nelson-Cat in a Neon
Nightmare- A Midnight Louie Mystery-DB58460.
NMy books sense, in the "flash disc" area, when I attempt to go beyond "from
the book jacket" area the unit skips back to "nls annotation," or even when
I get beyond the areas of the descriptions and chapter 1, when chapter 2 is
suppose to start, it goes back to the annotation parts of the book,
generally landing on "nls annotation."
