There's always the option of doing what I've done for several years, which is to listen to the book at a low volume, but loud enough for you to hear it. Then, right before you feel yourself fall asleep, either turn off the Booksense or remove the earbuds/headphones and let it power itself off with the usual 5 minutes increment, roll over and go to sleep. Why does that 11/3 rule that Raul mentioned earlier suddenly come to mind regarding the sleep timer in particular and new features in general, grin. Except in this case, 11 people talk about how to modify or change the feature mentioned, and only 3 say it's a good feature.
