I think this new firmware should be offered for public beta. I mean, everybody would be told and understands that beta software can have bugs or that it might change before release. The truth is that this 1.1 firmware that we already have is so much worse than the new one that to spite whatever bugs remain in the new firmware, I'd imagine it's better than anything we're all running now with 1.1.
