Is it my imagination or is this discussion turning a bit nasty? Hopefully, we
can discuss the merits of different suggestions without making people feel bad
for making a suggestion or offering their opinion on a suggestion.

Yes wwel some people can't deal with change along with a view towards making
  products perform better either!

Thankfully, I am in the ladder cataegory!

Seeing these suggestions for change makes me think you almost might like
designing another device from scratch. In time, I am sure there will be
other devices out there for us, but I don't think I would like to see any
major changes with the Book Sense. I am watching the Kindall story carefully
these days to see if that ultimately will be of any use to us, but when I
think of all the Book Sense is capable of in one tiny unit, I don't see
myself changing any time soon. I read constantly with mine and am quite
  happy, overall, with its performance.
