I have run mine down twice until it turned off.
Both times I plugged in the AC cord and waited about ten minutes. The unit
powered up just fine at that time.
I now tend to plug it in as soon as it tells me the battery is low the first
time, provided I'm somewhere I can do so. Otherwise, I shut it off and wait
until I can plug it in.

Has anyone run down the booksense battery until it stopps playing? After
doing this, I connect the ac adaptor, press power for 2 seconds, the booksense
will not power on. The only way I can get the booksense to power on is to do a
reset.
