I got a new SD card today and inserted it into the Book Sense while the unit was on. It immediately stopped talking and I could not get it to respond. I reset the machine by removing the battery, then reinserted the card while the unit was off. Same thing happened. The third time I reset the device with the new card in the slot, it came up with the folders on the new card. I didn't get an opportunity to go into the menu and select "format Storage Card, or whatever it's called.
Is this the way it's supposed to work. If so, how can anyone know what's happening when they insert a new card? That is, whether it is formatting the card, or has simply locked up? If it is not the way it supposed to work, then I guess my Book Sense is faulty in some way. Any advice?
