Before asking for the previous version of the firmware, I would check the GW Micro web site to see if it is still there, and you may want to be sure it is still possible to down-grade. I was reading some NLS material earlier this week and had absolutely no problem with my Book Sense. I would talk directly with Tech Support before taking any down-grading action. Have you also tried resetting your Book Sense? That might also help the situation.
I have been fortunate since the most recent firmware in that my Book Sense has worked flawlessly. Now, I will tell you that I don't use a lot of different formats. I do mostly BookShare and some NLS material. But I have really been happy with mine so far. I have been having problems with playing Daisy NLS books. The problem is when I exit one book and play another the BookSense locks up. I've tried everything I can think of but nothing worked so I'm going to send the BookSense back to GW. However, first I would like to downgrade to the 1.1 firmware to see if that solves anything so if any of you still have it can you send it to me? Thanks.
