The book sense handles up to 32gig sd cards which are the largest. There isn't any slowing in the processing of a 32gig card; I use one all the time.

Now that my new Booksense is on its way and will arrive on Tuesday, I've
a quesution. I did not see the answer after a quick peek at the manual. Is
there a size limit to the cards? And does the Booksense read or initialize
the cards at a slower rate with larger cards? I have a Bookport which does
this so am curious.
