Hi all
I do not own a Book Sense, but my sister does, and, being the family's
pet computer geek, it is on me to train her on it (a position with
which I am excited as it gives me the excuse to play with the device
so I can get used to it). A couple questions, one urgent:
1. There is a switch on the back of the AC adapter. Like an idiot I
decided to push it down, and now it will not go back up. What is this
switch, and will I fry the Sense if I plug it in with this switch
down? I am in the United States.

2. The manual says the Sense can be used with AC power. Does this not
work for the initial charge? The machine powered up when we put in the
battery, but then it turned itself off and now, powered or not (until
I hit that switch - it has not been plugged in since then) it refuses
to turn on. Reset it, or is this normal for the first charge?

Thanks for any help, and I really hope I did not damage the adapter by
throwing that stupid switch!!
