Hi Randy and list, Here's a message I received about charging the BookSense which might answer your questions.
Bob Hill Since the BookSense can charge via USB you should be able to buy an USB adapter to plug in to a car and then connect a USB cable to it and then to the BookSense and it should charge. I believe others have done this. We've found that you have to connect it to the adapter first and then turn it on. If you turn it on first and then connect the USB adapter it will think you are connecting to a computer and go in to mobile mode. Also when you are done charging you should turn it off and then disconnect the USB cable. So make sure to connect and disconnect the cable while it is off and it will charge from the car fine. You can get such adapters at http://monoprice.com At 06:21 AM 10/9/2009, you wrote: > Hi all, > > I am picking up my BookSense later this morning, but was wondering > about this. > > Has there been any thought given to providing a car charger for the BS? > It seems that since many cell phones have this option, that it would > be possible for the BS to do this too. > > Any thoughts? > > Bob Hill -- Michael D.
