Hello. There are several ways.
1. If the car stereo has a tape deck, you can insert a cassette audio
converter which has an audio cable coming out of it. This audio cable
connects to the headphone of the BookSense. Adjust the volume to around
14 and then you can adjust the over-all volume from the car stereo.
2. If the car stereo has an aux audio port, you can connect an audio
patch cable which has a 3.5 MM plug on both ends and this will send the
audio of the BookSense to the speakers of the car in the way as
suggestion 1. Adjust BookSense to around 14 volume level and it should
work nicely.
3. FM Transmitter. If neither 1 or 2 is possible, you can use an FM
transmitter which you connect to the headphone of the BookSense. The
transmitter sends the audio on a pre-set station which you tune the
car's FM radio to and then the audio from the BookSense is heard.
Hopefully one of these will help.
Many thanks.

HI Everyone,
I am going on a small road trip tomorrow and wondered how I can plug the
booksense in to hear it over the car speakers. Does the car need a USB
jack? Is there more than one way to get it to play over the stereo speakers
in the car? How does this work.
Thanks,
Karly
