The way I understand the new BookSense DS is that the target audience is not limited to blind people with no useable vision. Since those of us with no useable vision are one in ten of all people who fall within the definition of blindness, having a display will appeal to a larger group.
Also, for someone with a reading disability that falls into the various categories of dyslexia or dysgraphia having audio to accompany the printed word will be of tremendous benefit.
