Hello and thanks Buddy. I'm glad to see someone from Serotek tech
support on the list. I think that perhaps sometimes people forget that
when a product supports a new service, that we have total control over
said service. of course this is far from true. This is just like GW
Micro getting blamed for the Audible.com site not working as it should
just because the BookSense, Braille Sense, and Voice Sense play audible
content. *smile*
Cheers.

And, in defense of us Serotek people (and I know I haven't talked to you),
things were working upon release, but we've been doing updates and changes. Now
things should work correctly on both ends. If they don't, please call us at
Serotek. Contrary to seemingly popular belief, neither we nor GW micro are
clairvoyant, psychic, or have otherwise psychic abilities and can't possibly
catch everything right when it happens. And we can't fix what we don't know
about. But now, I can assure you everything's working as it should. For
instructions, see the SAMNet help files on using the Victor Reader Stream; the
instructions are exactly the same, except that of course files are stuck in
slightly different folders.

Gosh!
Give them a chance!
Maybe they had it configured, and then something happened.
Thanks for reading.

Subject: [GW-Booksense] Will GW people pl have the courtesy to proactively
inform this list when SAMNet is configured on their end for the BS?
Hello to GW.
My request is up in the subject line. As owners and patrons of this delightful
and pretty expensive product- the BookSense- it is quite reasonable for us to
expect GW to inform us here when SAMNet is configured on their end to be used
with the BS. Additionally, I would also like GW to provide this list a direct
link to instructions for downloading SAMNet content into our BS.
Sadly, so far I've had to call SAMNet and spend time waiting on phone etc. to
find that SAMNet is not yet configured on their end and really I or any other
BS owner shouldn't be the one to do this.
thanks much in advance..
Prateek
