I hate to say it, but it'll take some getting use to, having Kate or Paul reading me articles.

I've just got into the NFB in your pocket, BTW, brilliant concept, but I find both Kate and Paul rather garbled while reading an article. I have slowed them way down, to see if that helps.

Overall, I quite like the booksense voices; I'm hoping I'll just need to listen to more material to get use to their style. *smile*

A little side note, the voice on the iPod products, far more clear. Is that Samantha?

I just fired up k1000 and I agree, it is awful compared to the BS.
It is customizatle however. I just haven't taken the time to customize it.

Does Kurzweil use the same voices as the BookSense? Someone told me it did, but the voice sounds so quavery and awful. I listened to it read a section of the Kurzweil manual and I couldn't stand it! The BookSense's voices are
excellent!
