Like I said, I already have the information, so it's more about
whether or not to innundate the beginner user with it. I can, however,
see the benefit. I think what I'll do is add the information to the
status dialog (available from the Tools menu). It already lists the
drive sizes. There's no reason it can't list free/used space as well.

I guess knowing how much space the items in your transfer queue would
take up and comparing that to how much space is left on your booksense
isn’t as high a priority as I thought it would be, but that’s because
I have a 16G card. I’d think people with smaller memory cards, or the
XT with its internal memory, might think this feature was more useful.
Just my $0.02.

Two features I’d like to see in the Buddy software are:
A button or a way to refresh the list of files on your hard drive. I
was able to work around this by arrowing up and down the filter list,
which caused the list of files to be refreshed.
That's easy enough. I'll also tie the refresh to F5.
In the Transfer Queue, I think it would be good if it displayed the
total size of the files in the queue as well as the space remaining on
the Booksense. It may already be there, but a warning if you’re going
to transfer more files to the Booksense than you have room for would
also be good.
This information was there at first, but we removed it thinking it
might cause too much confusion for new users. If it's thought
important enough, however, I can add it back.
