Each file regardless of size requires a pointer of some type whether or not the underlying OS is Linux or Windows. Considering these files don't take up much room, it's doubtful they will be the downfall of your card getting completely full. I've considered starting an area where people can submit mark files for NLS books with little or no mark up. That way people can have quick access to the chapters of specific books.
