That's all right, I guess, but why would you want to do it that way
when you can always download NLS books directly from the Library of
Congress web site? Takes a little time, but you don't have to wait
for some one to send you a cartridge with books on it.

I know this isn't what you were asking for, but recently I took the
contents of an NLS cartridge, copied it to a folder on my PC and
then copied that folder on to my Booksense. It plays just fine. I'm
not surprised it works, but it took me a while to think to try it.

I think if you're going to copy stuff around in the booksense, why
not go all the way and allow the booksense to move files between the
flash memory, sd card, and memory stick plugged into the usb slot?
That makes 3 memories, and one of them has unlimited size...
I think it's hilarious when I go somewhere I have my booksense with
a plug in almost every jack -- I have some audio described movies on
my memory stick, and books on the other 2 memories.
Headphone connected -- I could also attach a mike, and then there is
the charger. Now I wouldn't want to use all the jacks as that would
include the opening for the hardware reset button... Oh well.
Happy listening.
I'm on the computer so much I haven't had time to listen.
But on our August vacation you can bet I'll have it in the car.

I agree with you about the volume. Also, I still wish that we had
tone control instead of the equalizer, but I won't complain too
much. I've never heard this third neospeech voice, so can't comment
on that idea.
I like the idea of being able to copy files from the flash disc to
the sd card and the other way round. I can see that coming in handy
every once in a while.

Yes I would be interested in these features. I like putting my
audible books on my SD card. I can do that now with the booksense
buddy. I think the volume was better before this latest update.
