Yeah, I'd agree with you regarding the lock switch being buggy. It'll
sometimes say locked and other times it won't say anything at all. On top
of this, sometimes it will remain locked, not allowing you to use any of the
buttons just as if it were still locked and when it comes to that (which so
far, has only happened three times), you're uncertain of what to do to get
it out of this, "locked up," status that it has put itself in.
It's pretty much unlocked itself two of these three times that I've
experienced this nonsense, but the other time, I had to plug it in to the AC
charger and it booted back up after that. Which I'm quite fortunate that I
had my AC charger handy at the moment to do just that right along with a
receptacle to plug it in to. I'm sure like myself, there are days/nights
that many of you for whatever reasons do not have your AC charger with you
or you do not have an AC receptacle available to plug it in to... and that
certainly wouldn't of been good times.

I've been using my BS for 10 months now and recently I've discovered
that I couldn't use the navigation keys or other keys at all. After
doing multiple resets, both soft and hard, I discovered that the
slider lock switch may be faulty. With the switch in the 'up'
position the unit will alternate between the locked and unlocked
state, sometimes announcing the change, sometimes not. By switching
the slider down and then up I can somtimes get the buttons to work
properly for a minute or two and then without warning the unit is
locked again.
I don't know if the mechanical construction of the switch is one of
those delicate pc-board things which is easily worked loose or
not. But my guess is that something has gone awry with the
switch. Anyone have this experience? And Raoul, how should I proceed?
