Did you try a "hard reset"

Either remove the battery, or use the reset button located on the side of the play, record, and lock buttons. It's about an inch below the lock button. Actually, the reset button is probably best for doing this. While pressing it with a toothpick, or a paper clip, hold down the #4 key. Continue holding that down for about twenty seconds. Then release it. If you haven't tried that yet, it frequently does the trick.

Ok all.
I used my book sense yesterday, all was well. Battery said 6. But then, I tried to plug it in and add some books to it this morning. Wasn't recognized. So, i plugged it into the charger. Charger took a while and it said after a few minutes "charging complete, using ac adaptor power." So, i unplugged it. Nothing... didn't come on nothing. Resetting it, nothing. Taking the battery out, turned it on... nothing. Now, what to do?
