I forgot to add, the battery itself was $69.99, shipping, $10. Jenifer Gilley email [email protected] MSN: [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- From: Jenifer Gilley To: bookSense Sent: Monday, August 16, 2010 2:01 AM Subject: [GW-Booksense] re: help!
Keith. I had the same problem. When you plug in the AC adapter, does it do anything? Mine, said after a few minutes, "battery charge completed" I'd take it off, no luck. What I had to do, shell out for a new battery that cost me $80! I'd had the book sense for only 8 months. I'm appalled that I had to spend so much on a battery. Obviously, I'm not upset that I had to pay for something, just at the cost! But, since no other company sold it for cheaper, no other resource, I had no choice. I can't believe they would charge so much for a battery! Alas, it's done, and I have my book sense back. I hope though, you don't have to do this. Like you, I'd had no accidents with the BS, nothing, but a bum battery... and my bs at less than a year old.
