Hi list, you guys and your resourcefulness might be my only hope. i got a new SD card today. I copied RFB&D books over to it, and they wouldn't play. i initially thought there must be something wrong with the card, but then I realized that books I'd had stored on my other card played fine, it was just recently downloaded ones that weren't working.
I've spent the last few hours redownloading them with no success. I just keep getting the message that I'm not authorized to play this copyrighted book. I'm on a mac and using the RFB&D manager someone made for it. I then thought that might somehow be the problem, but the books seemed to download completely, and it's worked before. I reformatted both cards, tried to reauthorize the player, everything I could think of. I was looking through the system status in some last attempt to see if i'd missed something when and realized that the spot where it says key number was suddenly blank. I reset the machine, something i've never had to do before. I'd been getting a message about not being authorized to play RFB&d content, but now the files won't even attempt to load and my key is still missing Please tell me someone has experienced this before.
