I completely agree with you about touch screens. I've seen a friend's iphone, and although he swears by the thing, I just didn't like it at all. The touch screen just doesn't make sense to me, and even with speech, I don't consider it to be accessible. Also, I don't like the speech used by the apple products. If I could tolerate that speech, I'd still be using the victor reader stream I used to have. I don't have a dedicated note taking device because I can't afford anything like that, but my desktop computer meets all my needs quite nicely, and I'm very happy with my htcs743 cell phone. It can serve as a notetaker in an emergency. I love my booksense, though, and hope that I'll be able to enjoy using it for many years to come. Missy

Others get loans or grants. The Ipods might be fine for some who can't afford notetakers, but Ipods don't meet my needs and I don't think I would like touch screens, even if they are "accessible." Besides, Ipods have too many features I wouldn't even use! I don't know if a person has to have AT&T to use the Ipod, although I know it's true for the Ipad and Iphone. Well, I'm happy with Verizon Wireless and I won't switch to AT&T for any reason! I'll use my BSP as long as I can. Terri Amateur Radio call sign KF6CA.
