i know it wil be released when it is ready.
i have always stood behind gw micro, and i am standing behind them again.
i've been a we user since we 1.02, yes, back when it was contained on one floppy disk. and i plan to be a user until the day gw stops making we, which i don't see happening. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Aaron Smith" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

Perhaps the public beta is more imminent that anyone realizes, and we're just being hush-hush until the show is done. Think about it. Why would Main Menu all of a sudden do a big two hour show about Window-Eyes 7, including a host of private beta testers who have been involved in testing and creating scripts, when the summer conventions are still weeks away?

Why, it's almost as if the beta is only days away. It's almost as if this is a build up to the most anticipated release in the history of Window-Eyes. It's almost as if the beta will be released sometime this week.

Of course, it would take someone at GW Micro to know that for sure.

perhaps is what they always say when this comes up, basically they want to get it right than redo more than they already may have to after the beta is public..just a hunch

Hi,
maybe scripting is really really really hard to implement, maybe it's the biggest and bestest thing gw has ever done, so it's taking a really long time to implement?

The first time GW made the rounds of the tech internet shows was February and now in June. And, the only promise is you can see it at the conventions. So what, its' been 5 months coming and still not even a public beta. Do you suppose it will get to public beta release by the end of 2008?
