Well, if there is a lesson from all this, I suppose it is something akin to not start the drumbeating until you are very sure that you can deliver something in the near term. I believe that GWMicro thought it could and things intervened. Keep in mind that there is a downside to too early drumbeating. While you get the peanut gallery excited about forth coming features, you are also alerting Freedom Scientific, Dolphin, Serotek, and everyone else in the screen reader business as to what you are doing. This gives them added time to respond to your new features either by strengthening theirs or incorporating ones that they don't have. So, I honestly feel that the timeframe got delayed and this vaporware (for lack of a better term) scenario was unintentional.
