Nimer,
I actually thought of this as well as I ended up doing the beeps. They've already been redone once, and I may try my hand at it one more time, much to Doug's disappointment.

Subject: WE 7.0 Beta

Here is something that I have noticed in the beta of WE that I believe could be improved upon. First, I would like to say that this is a good, stable release and I haven't had any problems. Anyway, getting back to my original point, I think that the frequency for the progress beeps should be increased, as through laptop speakers, the lower frequencies are not heard as well. For examples, possible check out the NVDA project, although I like the WE beep tones better.

Thanks
Nimer J
