I seem to get it when I open directories from the run dialogue. I often do
this when moving files to my mp3 player, files to a memory stick etc.
It doesn't happen every time but quite often.
I am using the new elequence at quite a fast rate.
don't seem to get it on the web or when reading but when I open files. Have
had no error reports as of yet which I could send to provide any useful
info.
Brian.

Subject: ***SPAM*** loosing speech in we7beta1
hello, i also had this happen 3 times so far. i'll just be typing and we7
stops speaking. and it seems as if the we7 is still running but not talking.
it seems it happens if i'm typing alot and fast, for example i was typing up
a long email and i was typing fast. but speech just stopped. and the only
thing i could do to restart is to reboot. it also happened when i was on the
web, i think it might be a problem, when we7 is being pushed to the limit as
for how fast your doing various tasks. if you do things very fast thats when
it seems to turn off speech. i'm not 100% sure but for me i have found the 3
times it happened was when i was doing large documents and doing things very
fast. then speech dies.
and we7 is still running but not speaking. hopefully gw can figure out a
fix.
i am using the following.
hp dv9000t with 2gb ram core2 2.0 and windows xp pro sp3 with all updates.
it hasn't done it for a few days but i'm keeping track. try to keep track of
what your doing and how its being done when speech dies.
thanks les
