the sl8uggishness you've reported for outlook may be the same problem I'm having in K1000 and MS Word -- where, when rapidly tabbing or arrowing, the computer seems to loose focus and have trouble "catching up". It's true that in K1000, Windoweyes is silenced and the speech synthesizer I've set for K1000 is being used, but the sluggishness problem goes away when I shut down Windoweyes. It seems a bit better with beta 3 but is not fixed yet. John
