I had this exact same problem and here is how you fix it.

When you are in your document, press the windows key (typically the key next to 
the alt key on the righthand side of a desktop keyboard) and the a at the same 
time. This turns attribute changhes on. Then press 
control, alt, shift and f at the same time. This turns "format alert" on. This 
will alert you to changes in indentation, font, etc. This is not, to my 
knowledge, documented in the Windoweyes manual and it should be if it's 
not.
