I've seen this also and it happens just about every time you start
windows mail.
What I do is when we announces windows mail I go to the top of the
screen with the mouse pointer and then move the mouse pointer down until
we says "inbox" and then I do a left click.
It takes much longer to describe it than to do it. <smile> This will
put you in the list of folders and seems to bring windows mail into
focus.

Yes, I have seen this too.
For me though, I can't just tab or alt-tab to get it working.
I have to press the windows key and then escape. Then I can alt-tab to
the in box.
Using we70, vista home basic sp1, with UAC turned off, and using windows
classic settings.

yep, and it's an unfortunate MS bug. It happens without Window-Eyes
running as well. One of the many reasons I switched away from Windows
Mail and went with Thunderbird.
