I've seen this also and it happens just about every time you start windows mail. What I do is when we announces windows mail I go to the top of the screen with the mouse pointer and then move the mouse pointer down until we says "inbox" and then I do a left click. It takes much longer to describe it than to do it. <smile> This will put you in the list of folders and seems to bring windows mail into focus.
