i have an acquaintance who is a computer instructor, and totally
blind. He has an Asus EEE 900, with an 8.9 inch screen, 1 GB RAM and
16 GB solid state storage. He has loaded onto it, Window Eyes, JAWS,
K1000, MS office 2003, and the software for the Eyepal. he said that
other than programs sometimes loading slowly, the machine performs
well. You can also get this machine with a 160 GB HD.

hi all,
i hope you know what i mean by the micro laptops, they are the
really small machines that you can get, they don't have a cd drive
or anything like that, they are much smaller than the normal laptop
but they run on windows xp pro i think. some of them do. i'm
wondering if these are any good for we as i must admit i've got my
eye on one of them. any thoughts?
thanks.
