Subject: need help with Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio

hi, my old sound card went bad! so I put in a
Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio
it plays mp3, ogg and wave files OK! but when it comes to voice output that
is any of them that comes with window-eyes, you hear the first part of the
first word OK! but everything after that the volume is cut to less then
half, and the voices are muffle!
does any one knows what is going on with this sound card?
and do you know how to fix it?
