Are you talking about the log on screen, or when you have already logged
on? Also, do you have write privileges on your folder where the
Window-Eyes settings are stored?
many thanks.

Hi Everyone:
I am seriously thinking of REVERTING BACK to Version 6.1 of
Window-Eyes! In that version, my chosen speech synthesizer, Eloquence,
RETAIN their settings. Countless numbers of times, I have been forced
to RESET WINDOW-EYES! I chose Eloquence as my speech engine; however,
you can always TRUST WINDOW-EYES 7.1 to REVERT BACK to the DecTalk that
SHIPS with Window-Eyes. May be some others LOVE this DecTalk voice, I
am CERTAINLY NOT ONE OF THEM! In fact, it sounds so awful I wish I
could SINK IT for good!
Before downgrading, I'd be interested in knowing whether or not there is
something else I can do to ensure that my chosen speech synthesizer
STAYS THE SAME whenever I reboot Windows or restart Window-Eyes.
Thanking you for all help!!
Sincerely,
Olusegun
