You need to sign in to your mlb.com account prior to clicking onto the station link. Note that this is a new procedure in place since Sunday. Prior to then, you could sign in either prior to clicking onto the link or after. So when you attempted to listen to the game, you were not permitted to do so as you had failed to sign in.
