I have always wondered why people seem to think that brand new programs,
Operating Systems need to be grabbed up right away, especially when it is a
really New Microsoft Operating System. That is beyond me. Everyone in my town
is very unhappy with Vista. They are all computer whizzes and they are all
sighted too. Good Luck to you all who are trying to use Vista, you all have my
best. Maybe the next version of Microsoft's operating system with the stupid
touch screen will be better? I doubt it for sure. Good Luck, Craig B. Richcreek

Actually it has nothing to do with scripts. But it does have everything to
do with Vista and UAC turned off. Just can't figure out why a small percentage
of these types of users have issues... We just haven't seen a machine first
hand with this problem.

Hi Doug, I guess that I am one of the lucky ones. I have no problems with
Wineyes 7.01 at start up but It may be because I am not using the scripts on a
normal bases. Best, Craig B. Richcreek

      Chip,

We have certainly tried as have many others with this exact case and
can't duplicate it. Obviously a minority of people have this issue but we just
aren't seeing it and without someone sending us a computer that can duplicate
this reliably there isn't much we can do.

      Regards,
      Doug

Hi Steve,

I'm having the problem also. I also don't have a password on my
account, do you have a password on your account? if not, then I'd
really suggest GW try again without passwords, as I think that was an
excellent observation.

I'm also setup as an admin, and that could be the key issue; is anyone
having the problem who is not setup as an admin?

I'm just writing to confirm that I'm also having the problem where
Window-Eyes won't start automatically when UAC is turned off.
 I'm using
Vista Home Premium. I'm in Australia so it definitely isn't practical
for me to get my PC to GW Micro but I really hope someone in
the USA is
able to let GW Micro staff borrow a PC where this is happening so they
can hopefully find out what is causing this problem.

Regards Steve.
