Hi,

I don't have my vista system here at work, so I can't give you the steps
to follow exactly unfortunately.

the answer is that vista, just like xp, has an option to control whether
each new folder you open is opened in it's own new window, or using the
current window from which you opened it (which is what you're seeing
right now).

Under the tools or the view menu is a choice for "folder options" I
believe, where you can change this. if you set it to open new folders
in new windows, you'll be able to tab between the previous and the new
folder as you want to do.

there's a mailing list for blind vista users which you may want to join
in order to ask all your vista questions. you can send an email to:

[email protected]

to join it.

good luck,

Chip
