It's nice to meet a member of the W3C HTML Working Group. I would like to
make clear that my points are valid for the general public. HTML 5 is a draft
and browsers are not officially implementing it and people should not be
composing documents in that format as such GW Micro is under no obligation to
its users to support it. Please forgive me for taking umbrage at your
high-handed response to what you referred to as arrogance on GW Micro's
attitude. My brother, Douglas, tells me that GW Micro is a small company and
therefore they must pick and choose what to concentrate on in their development
those parts that will benefit the greatest number of users and maintain their
reputation for providing a stable and reliable product. For example they have
focused on Microsoft Office support over Java. It is unfortunate however that
between you and the AT developers are the implementors and it is they who have
to announce what bits of their product are stable to the specificatio
n before GW Micro and support them.
