Hi, I hope someone can answer this question, it's been bothering me for a while. At times, while running skype 3.8, ith the latest scripts, I get automatic speaking of status messages, such as "away", "skype me", "online", "invisible", etcetera. These status messages pop up when people on your contact list change status or come online or go offline. Most of the time I don't hear these status messages automatically speaking. I have a friend who has experienced exactly the same inconsistent behavior with the same set up. We need to know what is going on and what should be done to make these status messages speak automatically all the time, no fuss, no muss. It is very puzzling. Also sometimes, when I read the title bar with ctrl-shift-t while in the contact list of skype, I hear the normal or maximized state of the window, other times, I don't get those window sizing messages. I don't think this has anything to do with the problem above, but just mentioning it, in case. Thanks so much for any help you can offer. In a jam here. Help would be surely appreciated.
