Hello Vic and all,

Thanks for sharing your experiences with WE speaking on startup. No mattter how
long I wait, there is no speech on startup at the log on screen. I'm running WE
7.0 on an XP Home PC. I don't know how to manage the profiles yet, but I'll get
there I'm sure. At home it's not a big thing, but when I install WE at work it
may be different. That's a network and there are more fields other than name
and password to work with. E.g., server name, prompts to update passwords, etc.
Hopefully it will work there as that's more crutial than my home PC.

Jean

Further to my previous note, I also remember something to do with the profiles.
Setting my profile to the default one, got WE to work better and more
consistently during start up.

This is under the WE control panel (control+back slash) File (alt+F) then arrow
down to Profiles.

Vic
