Okay. Chip. I went in to active profile and did one change in it that I can do. But, now I can't remember how to stop window-eyes from saying, app starting or arrow. I've ehad other emails from people saying they're having problems set files holding. I wish they would send them to the entire list. As soon as I made the change my set file settings didn't hold. That's why it's now saying app starting and arrow. I hate it!!!

If the answer to both is yes, then that can easily explain the loss of saved .set files. networks sometimes will over-write newer files, stored in your user profile as .set files are, with slightly older ones, if they have "roaming profiles" enabled. this happens especially when you turn the pc off or otherwise don't complete the logoff process (say you're forced to reboot). this problem has nothing to do with window eyes, if it applies to you, but happens to all applications which use the user profile for storing their files. please let us know the answers to these questions. thanks. I might be beating a dead horse. But I wish gw micro would go back to save global settings instead of saving set files. I hate those. I don't think they always hold. Besides, most of the time, I want my settings saved globally. It's a pain to go into each program and do that!! For example, I turn the enter key on. I even saved the stupid set file, This was in ms-word. As soon as I logged off my computer and logged back on, it was off. Drives me crazy!
