Hi Sue:
No Window-eyes will not work in Safe Mode, because only the necessary components of the operating system will run in Safe mode, which means you will not get any sound, and thus, no speech.

Subject: safe mode and window eyes.

Hello I was wondering if you are working with in windows and you want to go in to safe mode through the ms config, will window eyes still work so I can get feedback with speech? I really want to uninstall avast, don't really want this software anymore, tried to uninstall it from the add remove programs, but it does not work, in order to get rid of it you have to go in to safe mode and the uninstall utility program all ready downloaded and have it on my desktop, well you have to go to the desktop and run that to remove it. Then back out of safe mode. Has anyone experienced this? If they have, could you give me some tips? Thanks.
