Hi Sue, Maybe you should call Chris Bell who seems to know everything and he might have the answer and even if he doesn't, he will give you his rant on why WE has missed the boat on this. but don't let him snow you about EFI based machines as being the best thing since fresh sliced french bread and oh how those bios based systems that are about 98 percent of the market can't just seem to hack it for all of us. And per chance he doesn't know the answer he will wagg on his jaw about something not relevant. ----- Original Message ----- From: Sue Ward To: gw-info Sent: Saturday, August 01, 2009 7:15 PM Subject: safe mode and window eyes.
Hello I was wondering if you are working with in windows and you want to go in to safe mode through the ms config, will window eyes still work so I can get feedback with speech? I really want to uninstall avast, don't really want this software anymore, tried to uninstall it from the add remove programs, but it does not work, in order to get rid of it you have to go in to safe mode and the uninstall utility program all ready downloaded and have it on my desktop, well you have to go to the desktop and run that to remove it. Then back out of safe mode. Has anyone experienced this? If they have, could you give me some tips? Thanks. ____________________________________________________________ Click now to get the general liability insurance you need to protect yourself!
