Like I said before, there are too many sighted drivers who shouldn't be driving and the DMV is one big joke because they aren't strict enough. The money spent on this project should have been spent on something which really would have been of practical help to the blind. One idea is to make funds available to help people buy the adaptive products they need for independence and employment. Just think! If a product like the BrailleSense + could be subsidized so the end user could pay, say, $500.00 instead of the $5,995.00 that would be helpful!
