John, I don't know anything about your situation, but I am occasionally finding cases where lists, or more accurately combo boxes, are not tracked when "Track Mouse with Focus" is on. I just became aware that this still sometimes happens. It is at least worth trying to turn that off and see if it fixes your problem.
